If I rent the venue for the weekend, can I have my rehearsal and Groom’s dinner there the evening before?
When you purchase the weekend package, you can have your rehearsal and Groom's dinner at the venue. The Groom's dinner does not have to be prepared by a licensed caterer.
What is the outdoor and indoor seating capacity?
Outdoor seating capacity is 450 people. Indoor seating capacity is 450 people.
What are your available dates?

When are the payments due? Do you offer a payment plan?
$2,000 due to save your date plus signed contract to book. 6 months prior to wedding date half of the remaining balance is due. 60 day prior to wedding date the final payment plus sales tax is due
How do I reserve date?
You can book your date by filling out form on our webpage - Book Your Date. Please do not send any date preferences until you are ready to sign the contract and submit the booking fee.
Do I need to request a tour or can I just stop by?

What is the average budget of a couple getting married at The Venue at Copper Ridge?
It is all up to the couple! In general, we believe the average budget of a couple getting married at The Venue at Copper Ridge is between $15,000-$30,000 for all wedding expenses (venue, food, dress, DJ, photographer, etc.).
Do you have a guest count minimum?
We do not have minimums for guest count.
Do you have bar minimums or do we have to hire bar service?
We do not have bar minimums and we take care of staffing bartenders and servers. We offer a full bar menu. We ask the couple in advance for favorite drinks and preference on what you want served at the bar. We do not allow outside alcohol at all at The Venue at Copper Ridge.
Do you have preferred vendors that couples must choose?
You can choose a licensed caterer, DJ and photographer of your choice. We work with these vendors on the weekend/day of the event to make sure everything runs smoothly and to answer any questions that come up.
Will there be another wedding on the same weekend/day?
We only host one wedding per weekend/day to ensure that each couple’s event is special and receives our full attention.
Are there overnight accommodations nearby?
We have 12 Camping Sites and our Honeymoon Suite to rent. Request to Rent on our webpage - Accommodations.
How many cars will your parking lot accommodate?
120 cars
What kind of tables do you have?
We have 25 rectangle 10’ Amish made barn wood tables and 30 -72” round tables with white or ivory linens.
What happens if it rains?
If there is a chance for rain, we will make on aisle down the middle of the reception area and put an arch in front of the head table. We will set up a couple of rows of chairs for family if requested. Your other guest will be seated at the tables already set up.
Do you provide table linens, cups, silverware, etc.?
The Venue at Copper Ridge provides venue, tables, linens, ceremony and reception chairs and lots of decorations along with 24 glass champagne flutes for the head table. We do not provide the cups, silverware, etc..
Do you allow dogs onsite?
We do allow dogs for the pictures and ceremony only (with pre-approval by Angie) as long as they are on a leash. Animals, other than service animals, are NOT allowed under roof or near food. Dogs must be on a leash and someone must be responsible for them other than the bride and groom.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check or credit card (a service charge will be applied to all credit card sales).
My preferred dates are unavailable. DO you have a cancellation waiting list?
We do not keep a cancellation waiting list because cancellations are unpredictable. As soon as a dates become available we post it on our Book your Date webpage.
What time will I have access to the venue to decorate?
You will have access to the venue at the time listed on your contract, no earlier. Please plan accordingly.
Do you include a “wedding day coordinator?”
Yes we do! Angie will work with the bride and groom throughout the planning process to ensure your day runs smoothly. She will coordinate with your vendors to make sure they have what they need. Angie is available to answer questions but is not an extra set of hand to help with decorating. Angie’s goal is to make sure your fay runs smoothly and is as stress-free s possible!
What are our catering options at The Venue at Cooper Ridge?
We do have a preferred vendors list that we give to our couples that have signed a contract and deposit. If you choose a caterer that is not on our list, they must be licensed and also approved by Angie.
How much should we expect to spend on catering and bar?
Depends on the number if guests, food options provided and if you want to pay for some if the drinks for your guests. We do not have a bar minimum and you are able to pay for as much or as little of the bar tab as you wish.
What time should we start our wedding?
We suggest starting Friday Weddings at 5:00pm, Saturday weddings between 4:00-5:00p.m. If you want a different time, please contact us first to ensure you get the sun set shots that you want at the right time of day during the year.
How will the tables, chairs, etc. be arranged for my sized event?
The Venue at Copper Ridge has suggested table layouts n PDF form. We will reach out to determine your preferred layout prior to the big day.
If we choose the one day option, will we be able to access the location early to rehearse our ceremony?
One day rentals should plan for offsite rehearsal. You are also welcome to bring anyone who would feel more comfortable understanding the venue, (such as your DJ or minister, or wedding party) to your pre-wedding tour if you wish.
Can we have fireworks on the property?
Fireworks are not permitted. You may however have sparklers. The Copper Ridge staff will be in charge of lighting them and disposing of them properly.
What time does the music need to end?
Music on Friday/Saturday must conclude by 12:00am to ensure that you, all of your items and all vendors are off-property by 12:30am. Music on Sundays must conclude by 9:30pm to be off property by 10:00pm.
Are candles allowed?
Yes, candles are allowed as long as the flame is completely contained in a candle holder. Tapered candles and any type of hanging candles will not be allowed for safety reasons.
Is it possible to seat 9 guests to a table?
In a pinch, yes if one is a child, but we would not recommend it for your guests comfort.
How far in advance do you need our final headcount?
We will need to know final number 3 weeks before your date.
Is outside snacks and trays permitted?
Outside food is permitted prior to the ceremony. It is not allowed after the start of the event.
What is the event clean-up process?
Copper Ridge staff will handle all standard clean up and trash removal throughout and following the wedding reception.
Can we take photos around the venue property on our wedding day?
Yes! Just ask us and we would be happy to make recommendations.
Can we nail decorations or tape to the walls?
No, we do not allow nails or tape on our walls. If you have any question on certain decorations, please ask our staff prior to decorating day.
