Tell us about the proposaL

The proposal seriously couldn’t have been more perfect—it happened at our favorite place in the world: the lake. The day started off simple and fun, just the way we like it. We went fishing in the morning, then spent some time relaxing at the beach. After that, we grabbed some of our favorite food—uffda tacos and ice cream (a classic combo!).

Later in the day, I noticed Levi was acting a little off. He seemed quiet and kind of out of it, so I actually thought he might be getting sick. I told him, “Let’s go back to the camper and take a nap—something’s wrong with you!” So we did.

After our little rest, Levi got up and said, “Let’s go take the dog for a walk on the pier.” I didn’t think anything of it. The sun was just starting to set, painting the sky with the most beautiful colors, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect—calm, warm, and peaceful.

Then, right there on the pier, with the golden sunset reflecting off the water, he stopped, turned to me, and popped the big question.

It was unbelievably romantic—just the two of us, the quiet lake, the sunset, and a moment we’ll never forget. A true fairytale, in the most “us” kind of way.
